This customer offers a wide range of transportation services worldwide and operates in more than 3,300 locations.SummaryTo help manage the shift and assist in the direction of janitorial employees. To ensure the smooth running of operations as well as performs the same duties as the janitorial employees. To ensure customer satisfaction and that target goals and deadlines are met. To ensure that all direct janitorial employees comply with the company's policies and procedures.Schedule and Location:Shifts between 5:00PM-1:30AMGrand Prairie, TXResponsibilities/DutiesTo take responsibility of the shift in terms of assisting the Manager in ensuring the scope of work gets doneTo take responsibility for the quality of work that is produced within the shiftEnsures that the assigned janitorial duties are done properlyAssist the Manager in enforcing work standards for janitorial employees in accordance with company practicesMonitors, measures and reports to the Manager on performance during the shiftTo ensure that good communication is given to all janitorial employeesFollows guidelines for proper maintenance of all equipmentProblem solving and troubleshooting skillsTo ensure that health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this area are dealt with effectively and efficiently using the resources within the companyTo ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shiftMaintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplaceAble to make appropriate decisions while following the company's organizational structureRespond to customer complaints ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.Other duties as assigned by Management.QualificationsMust possess a positive attitude and work well with other team membersMust be able to work unsupervisedMust have good verbal and written communication skills; Must be bi-lingualMust be able to follow direction and ask questions for clarification, if neededSome knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), desiredAuthorized to work in the U.S. We Use E-VerifyExtraordinary Work ConditionsMust maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings or weekends as necessary.Must be capable of working outdoors on job sites as needed.Must be able to work in extraordinary weather conditions (snow, refrigerated warehouse and freezer).National Janitorial Solutions is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
