Store Operations:

● Plan, implement and oversee all store policies and procedures and develop innovative sales strategy, communication and operational processes

● Employee will be required to learn and operate Brother Sewing Machine using LF styles and fonts for custom embroidery, training is provided. No prior experience required but a plus.

● Work with upper management to develop best practices and standards for visual merchandising across store locations to ensure the stores look fresh and exciting

● Develop systems to facilitate clear communication between office and store staff (daily store updates, tasks that need to be taken care of, items that need to be delivered to the store, policy updates, launches, product knowledge, etc)

● Develop and manage the retail calendar for all in-store activities, including; marketing, events, product launches, etc.

● Provide administrative and practical support for retail events (sales, sample sales, in-store events etc)

● Coordinate general maintenance and store upkeep as needed

● Manage third party consignment stock (manage inventory, facilitate brand knowledge among sales team, payout reporting, return of inventory, etc)

● Maintain an up-to-date inventory count and participate in the active improvement of our inventory management systems

● Communicate with office team to facilitate stock movement to support retail sales, manage distribution and merchandising of inventory across stores

● Manage and deliver monthly reporting to management


Staff Management and Training:

● Recruit, train and develop sales teams, cultivate a high-performance culture, motivating teams to meet sales and productivity goals

● Create and implement customer service strategies, plans and materials to set the standard for all store staff

● Establish and communicate clear expectations, holding sales teams accountable for meeting all brand, performance and customer service standards

● Drive team engagement by recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding performance and maintaining an environment where all staff are treated fairly and with respect

● Serve as primary support to store staff for matters including, but not limited to, inventory, scheduling, POS/technical issues, employee onboarding, maintenance and repairs, etc.

● Resolve all human resources issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR when necessary

● Encourage customer relationship development (VIP clients)

● Work with all stores to develop schedules and manage sales goals on a monthly basis


Customer Service:

● Respond to customer emails, phone calls, chats, and requests, providing help/product insights and satisfactory resolutions to any issues they may encounter.

● Take a service- and solution-oriented approach to all interactions, using strong judgment to balance being policy-driven with making it right for the customer.

● Become an expert on Lingua Franca products and brand, including details on our embroidery process and manufacturing


Job Details

Location: Larkspur, CA

Job Type: Full time / Part time, hourly

Pay: $30 - $35 / hr, eligible for Overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week (subject to pre-approval from manager)
