Title: Warehouse Associate/Lab Operator

Contract: 6 Months+ Perm

Location: Austin, TX

Max PR: $17-$20/hr


Also, they do pay holiday hours as well.

The first 2 days are remote training, then into a facility for training on 3rd day from 9-5 for a few weeks.

6 Month+ contract, potential Temp to Perm Hire


Two Teams: Alpha and Bravo

Bravo Night

  • Wed 6.5 hours / 5 pm - 11:30 pm
  • Thurs, Fri, Sat 12.5 hours / 5 pm - 5:30 am


Notes:

1. 12.5 hour shifts (3x days)

2. 6.5 hour shift (1x day)

3. Individuals work 42 hours a week (2 hours OT per week)



The ideal Lab Operator I will possess the following skills:

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced production, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments with defined success metrics and goals for teams and individuals
  • Keen attention to detail, highly organized, and diligent
  • Willing to participate in continuous improvement and operation exercises
  • Strong computer skills and not intimidated to learn new systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts
  • Ability to follow detailed written instruction required to successfully run stated protocols with minimal supervision
  • Comply with all lab safety guidelines and use appropriate safety and protected devices when performing duties in the lab
  • Ability to work flexible shifts/hours, as well as overtime as needed, which requires standing on lab floor for the duration of a work shift not including breaks.
  • Strong team player and a self-starter
  • Lifting and handling of materials used for experiments will be required, not to exceed OSHA guidelines.
  • This is a non-exempt, contract-to-FTE role, with openings available for day, swing and night shifts and the ability to start immediately

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience working in either a laboratory environment or a regulated manufacturing industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Automotive, etc.)
  • Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Laboratory Practices (GMP/GLP) environment
