LHH is seeking a highly motivated Refrigeration Sales Engineer to join our client's growing team in Jacksonville, TX. You'll leverage your in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems to design and sell customized solutions for food and beverage processing and distribution centers. Working collaboratively with the sales team, you'll champion our client's innovative heat transfer solutions, ensuring customer success and exceeding sales targets. Prepare to travel to customer sites and industry trade shows, showcasing your expertise and fostering strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our client's sales team to identify customer needs within the food & beverage processing and distribution sector. Design and propose customized refrigeration solutions using thermal calculations and heat transfer software, focusing on cooling or freezing applications.
  • Develop and present compelling financial models, building strong business cases for proposed solutions and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Represent the company at customer locations and industry trade shows, demonstrating your refrigeration expertise and generating qualified leads.
  • Match specific customer requirements to the ideal heat exchanger solution from our client's portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Craft and deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value proposition of your solutions for food & beverage applications.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of the sales cycle, from initial proposal to project execution, ensuring seamless customer experience.
  • Serve as a vital link between customers and our client's R&D/Product Management teams, translating customer needs into future product enhancements for the food & beverage industry.
  • Gather and document competitive intelligence to maintain a market edge and identify new growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or similar)
  • 2-5 years of experience working with refrigeration systems in a sales, application engineering, or design role
  • Proven experience in the food & beverage processing or distribution industry, with a focus on cooling or freezing applications for food products
  • Experience with designing refrigeration systems for large-scale facilities, such as food processing plants or distribution centers
  • Proficient in design software and familiar with thermal calculation tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-50% of the time
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
