Job Description

• Spearhead the design, development, release, and launch support of Core Engine Hardware Components including Crankshafts, Bearings, and Balance Shafts.
• Collaborate with our existing suppliers and strategize sourcing with our global supply base.
• Oversee part procurement, assembly, and testing throughout various stages of engine program development.
• Fulfill Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements and Technical Knock-Out (TKO) criteria.
• Conduct comprehensive engine teardowns for root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Execute Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) for initial production tool sample builds and complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Ensure the successful completion of final validation and support all engine build milestones.
• Manage deliverables and milestones with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, including scheduling and leading meetings to address engineering issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of Internal Combustion Engines.
• Experience with OEM processes and advanced quality tools (DFMEA, DVPR).
• Proficiency in NX CAD and knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter preferred.
• Proven experience in component release within an OEM or major Tier 1 company.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
