Your Role at KIK

The Demand Planning Manager leads the Demand Planning team and manages the critical S&OP link between the sales forecast, the production signal, and the actual customer orders. This high-visibility role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional leadership ability, and a personal drive for continuous improvement. The consensus demand plan, the ultimate output of the demand planning team, plays an indispensable part in meeting our customers’ needs.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the S&OP “Demand Review” process
  • Drive forecast accuracy and bias performance improvement through a collaborative forecasting process leveraging point of sale data, Sales and Marketing input as well as historical trends
  • Provide dependent (component) demand requirements to assist in supplier management
  • Facilitate life cycle planning management to assist in proper ramp up and run out resulting in optimal service levels and reduced risk of waste
  • Facilitate inventory target setting process
  • Create and maintain inventory strategies by product/location types
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining key demand management performance metrics
  • Report out forecast accuracy vs. target and bias vs. target
  • Maintain planning-related item master data in the ERP
  • Perform detailed reconciliations between systems; identify and correct any gaps is data flows Other Demand Management metrics as required
  • Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience with 3 years or more of Demand Planning experience
  • Experience leading teams and the ability to motivate towards achieving targets/expectations
  • Degree in in Supply Chain Management or Business Management preferred
  • CPIM or CSCP Certified or working towards certification preferred
  • Experience managing within a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Organization
  • Extensive ERP experience and demand planning software knowledge is required
  • Strong demand planning background in a multi-location network
  • Knowledge of demand planning best practices including statistical baseline and seasonal profile creation
  • Proven track record of driving metric-based organizations and results
  • Superior cross functional communication skills and influencing without authority
  • Continuous Improvement methodology including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) acumen and corrective action mindset
