Yard Laborer/Container RepairElko Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Yard Laborer/Container Repair to join the team in Elko, NV. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-3:00pm (Flexible) with occasional overtime. Starting pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour + Yearly Safety Bonuses $$ + Yearly Boot allowances $$ + Generous Paid Time Off + Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits. + 401K retirement with company match. + Company Paid Life Insurance + Uniforms/Safety Gear Provided and Laundered.Must have a clean driving record, pass criminal background check, & 5 panel drug screening to be eligible for employment.Duties And Responsibilities:Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.Washing, repairing, and assembling trash bins and containersTraffic management.Perform yard work including cutting weeds.Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.Working outside in all weather conditions.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Operates recycling baler.Operates skid steer and forklift.Working Conditions And Physical Effort:Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.Minimum Job Requirements:Valid driver's license with clean driving record (MVR)Must pass criminal background checkMust pass drug screenWorking knowledge of D.O.T. lawsAbility to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments in English.Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
