Financial Planning And Analysis PositionThis position will be responsible for coordination of financial planning and analysis for generation support organizations and assisting financial planning and analysis for operating sites as needed.Key AccountabilitiesLeads the financial projection, analysis, long-range planning and ad hoc financial and operational reporting processes for support organizations including generation services, environmental and safety, supply chain, generation leadership and operating sitesLeads the development / utilization of planning tools and processes to coordinate capital, O&M cost tracking and reportingWorks closely with the operation team, development team and other members with FP&A to understand variance in costs; Actively monitors actual results compared to plan, projection, and prior year for their region to ensure targets are met or exceededWorks closely with leaders from each function group supported to summarize financial results, provide corrective action as needed and support ad-hoc & strategic analysis, including quarterly business reviews for regional managers and/or other periodic performance updates as neededEducation, Experience & Skill RequirementsBachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or other related analytical discipline5+ years finance work experience in a dynamic and analytical environment2+ years experience in analytics or finance within the generation business (fossil, mining, solar, battery, wind)Strong ability to analyze large data sets, summarize and communicate/present effectivelyStrong communication skillsKey MetricsEnsure monthly projections are done timely and accuratelyEnsure monthly attribution is done timely and accuratelyRespond to ad hoc requests on a timely mannerJob Family: FinanceCompany: Vistra Nuclear Operations CompanyLocations: Glen Rose, TexasWe are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
