Primary Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift) Alternate/Related Job Titles: Production Technician Operations Technician Assembly Technician Manufacturing Operator Process Technician Location: Newark, DE Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details: Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12.5 months Start: 09/11/2025 End: 10/02/2026 Shift/Hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Job Summary: As a Manufacturing Technician, you will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex equipment to ensure production requirements are consistently met. You'll collaborate with engineers, quality specialists, and leadership teams on setup, calibration, testing, and rework while maintaining compliance with established safety and quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to continuous improvement, and develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and promote a safe work environment, addressing hazards promptly. Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure consistent production quality. Interpret schematics and blueprints to perform accurate calibration. Perform inspections, testing, and rework of parts, subassemblies, and assemblies. Document non-conformances and collaborate on root cause investigations. Support Quality Standards through compliance and process accuracy. Participate in continuous improvement and 5S workplace organization initiatives. Manage inventory transactions and work orders using Oracle and Agile systems. Maintain accurate training records and complete all required certifications on time. Uphold attendance and scheduling standards, including working overtime as needed. Required Experience: High School Diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred). 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Nice-to-Have Experience: Prior experience with Oracle ERP or Agile Product Lifecycle Management. Required Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive). Strong ability to read, understand, and follow procedures. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Team collaboration and independent work ability. High-level attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with manufacturing test equipment. Additional Skills: Troubleshooting using basic tools. Experience with high-voltage electronics, clean rooms, and radiation safety. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in environments with mechanical parts and chemicals. Consistent adherence to safety shoe requirements and PPE usage.
