The best experiences provide true immersion in a company's culture, access to and networking with senior leaders and industry experts, opportunities to apply what you learn through real work that drives real results, and a fun and engaging cohort to share the experience withWith this in mind, we've crafted our program to allow you to engage directly in our values driven culture through company, department, and cohort events, all while being challenged with a blend of learning programs, informative networking sessions with IMA associates, and opportunities to engage in department specific work projects that have real world impact for our clients, our business, and our associates.As an intern, your time will be divided between a core program shared with the entire cohort and specialized work, projects, and programming tailored to the department you join.Daily Responsibilities Will Include:Engage in client-facing meetings to observe, learn, and contribute while demonstrating strong conversation-handling skills and professionalism.Collaborate on projects using Co-Pilot, EPIC, and Indio to build technical competency and show initiative as a motivated learner.Actively network within the organization and maintain relatable, positive communication with team members and leadership.Take ownership of personal development by seeking feedback, proving reliability, and working toward clear, goal-focused professional growth.Approach tasks with an open mindset, valuing both internal collaboration and opportunities to learn from experts outside the organization.You Should Have:Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in a program related to one of our host departments (Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Insurance)Interest in Insurance related roles, members in Insurance clubs or Gamma Iota SigmaStudents anticipated to graduate in Spring 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environmentAn entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutionsCompensation:This position is classified as nonexempt and is paid on an hourly basis. The hourly pay range for IMA interns is 18.00 to 22.00 dollars and is determined by your expected graduating year.
