At Joshua Medical Group, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of healthcare settings. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients while working collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care. Your role will be integral to improving patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough physical examinations, obtain comprehensive medical histories, and perform diagnostic tests. Utilize clinical judgment to diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Treatment and Management: Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans. Manage patient care plans, including follow-up and ongoing management of chronic conditions.
  • Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Provide counseling on lifestyle changes and health maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in continuous quality improvement activities, including the development of care protocols and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and changes in healthcare regulations. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.



Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Licensure: Current and valid Nurse Practitioner or physician assistant license in CA, with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), as applicable.Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technologies.Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
