Operating Room Staff Registered NurseAtlanta, GASchedule Options:Three 12 hour shiftsFour 10 hour shiftsFive 8 hour shiftsMid shift from 10a 10pScope of Practice:This Operating Room handles a full range of surgical cases, including gynecology, urology, orthopedics, spine surgery, transplants, general surgery and ENT.The RN will work closely with surgical techs, anesthesiologists and peri-op staff to ensure smooth operations and safe patient care throughout the surgical continuum.Key Responsibilities:Provide high quality perioperative nursing care for elective and emergent casesCollaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, optimal outcomes and efficient case flowFloat across all listed surgical specialties and OR locations as neededAssist in circulating or scrub roles as trained and scheduledParticipate in preoperative preparation, intraoperative monitoring, postoperative handoff and documentationFollow established standards, policies and procedural guidelines including infection control, surgical checklists and time outsSupport process improvement, patient experience goals and team initiativesQualifications:Active Georgia RN licensePrevious OR experience preferred (new grads considered with structured orientation)BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferredAbility to float across specialties and adapt to different shift needsStrong communication, teamwork and critical thinking skillsOur Mission:Our hospital's mission centers on improving the lives of patients and our community through compassionate care, clinical excellence and a commitment to doing what is right.
