• Administer and report on global lease accounting activities • Maintain and review lease documentation and schedules • Ensure compliance with ASC 842 and proper lease classification • Manage lease data entry and integrity in the accounting system • Prepare and approve journal entries for financial close processes • Reconcile lease-related balance sheet accounts • Collaborate with Real Estate, Fleet, Legal, and FP&A teams • Respond to lease-related inquiries and escalate issues as needed • Support internal and external audits with relevant schedules • Lead process improvements and automation initiatives • Mentor junior team members and ensure policy adherence • Stay updated on lease accounting regulations and best practices • Participate in strategic projects and system enhancements We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • 5+ years of related experience in lease accounting • Knowledgeable and professional, capable of: • In-depth knowledge of ASC 842 and U.S. GAAP • Strong Excel and general Microsoft Office skills • Ability to perform reconciliations and journal entries • Experience managing lease data and documentation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with moderate complexity Nice to Have Skills & Experience • CPA certification • Experience with FinQuery Lease software • Experience in a corporate accounting environment • Familiarity with system upgrades, M&A activity, and policy updates • Prior involvement in audit preparation and support Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
