Videographer

Experience Kissimmee is the tourism authority for the Kissimmee destination and Osceola County. We promote the destination domestically and around the world to potential leisure, meetings/business, and sports travelers. Our team develops and implements sales, marketing, and communications programs that encourage more than 9 million overnight guests annually.  

Experience Kissimmee is currently seeking a Videographer. This role executes field-based video production, including filming, editing, sound mixing, and compression output of a wide range of products that benefit and promote the destination while motivating the intent to travel.   

This Videographer will telecommute and work some days at Experience Kissimmee’s office in Celebration, some days from home and some days from various locations throughout Central Florida capturing content. Therefore, candidates are expected to live in Central Florida. Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean 3-year motor vehicle report is required. 

Below are some major responsibilities of the position: 

• Capture and edit video content for a wide range of uses.   
• Provide creative advice and video content strategies that encourage consumer appreciation for the destination and its tourism industry partner.  
• Collaborate with the Content Studio team on overall brand video ideation and style that helps define the brand voice for the organization. 
• Review footage, make editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustments, color corrections, or insert computer graphics and special effects in accordance with the overall production concept. 
• Transport and operate all portable video and audio equipment and provide limited troubleshooting and maintenance of field production equipment.  
• Upload video assets (all videos/video footage) to the video asset library in a timely manner and per the established cataloging/storage guidelines.  Also assist with equipment management and inventory. 
• Request and collect video and photo assets from industry partners throughout the Central Florida area. 
• Provide video support to internal teams for specific sales and/or communications programs. 
• Explore and experience the destination with the intention of finding new and unique stores to tell in/about the destination. 

Required Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, telecommunication, video production and/or completion of a certificate program in television production from an accredited technical institute. 
• Minimum 2 years combined experience in video production, video editing, and developing content for marketing/social media initiatives.  
• High level of competency in all areas of video production, including lighting, sound, motion graphics, color correction and publishing. 
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, primarily Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.   
• Proficiency in the use of industry-standard videography equipment. 
• Must have some knowledge of social media video production standards for various platforms. 
• Must have ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment while maintaining a positive attitude. 
• Requires the ability to understand and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure both effectively and efficiently. 
• Passion and excitement about Kissimmee and Osceola County’s tourism, activities, attractions, and brand message.
