Location: Hybrid Remote position

Pay Rate: $25 per hour

1st Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customs documents for shipment
  • Verify the accuracy of data
  • Prepare information for printing and storage
  • Support import and export operations, shipment logistics, and documentation
  • Review and enter data in appropriate databases
  • Proactively verify data through source documents


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Import Freight Forwarding experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, demonstrating attention to details
  • Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to work quickly with thoroughness and efficiency
  • Ability to work in a team


Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications
  • Documented experience in import shipments e.g. 7501, CI, PL, AWB etc.
  • 2-4 years of customs entry writer experience
  • Prio import freight forwarding experience
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
