Looking for a Bespoke Alterations Tailor for Expanding Custom Clothing Store

  • Full time position 
  • Tues. - Fri.10:00am - 5:00pm Sat.10:00am - 4:00pm (approximately 35 hours a week)
  • This position entails administering all tailor-related services for mens and women's clothing, e.g. completing all in house alterations, taking measurements, leading custom alteration fittings, staying on schedule with high volumes of work, and assisting sales associates with aspects of customer relations.


Responsibilities

  • Make clear, accurate measurements on garments.
  • Complete high quality alterations according to the clients needs and desires.
  • Collaborate with Sales Associates in assisting clients alteration requests.
  • Prioritize alterations based on customers needs.
  • Perform quickly under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Understand and execute all alteration types as well as customer's special requests.
  • Marking tickets with proper alterations status.
  • Press and steam garments when needed.
  • Work 7 hour shifts 5 days a week.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous experienced required.
  • Experience with mens and women's alterations.
  • Strong understanding and quality tailoring skills to meet and execute customers needs.
  • Ability to keep up with a sizable workload.
  • Friendly interpersonal skills.
  • Speaks proficient English.
