Join our Team as a Sonographer in Maternal Fetal Medicine We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to enhance our Maternal Fetal Medicine team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO. Your expertise in sonography is vital to provide high-quality care to our patients and their families. Position Details: Location: UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO Employment Type: Part Time (0.5 FTE) Hours: 40 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $40.40 - $56.56 per hour, commensurate with experience About the Role: As a Sonographer in our Maternal Fetal Medicine department, you will perform imaging procedures while adhering to the highest standards of practice. You will play a crucial role in monitoring patient conditions and ensuring their comfort throughout procedures. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing patient history and physician orders; scheduling appointments and educating patients on procedures to enhance their understanding and cooperation. Monitoring patients’ conditions and reporting any changes appropriately. Preparing and operating sonography equipment, selecting exposure factors, and ensuring quality control. Performing procedures, analyzing results, and addressing any image quality issues effectively. Documenting and reporting scan results and collaborating closely with Radiology students as needed. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program. Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or certified in Sonography (S) by the ARRT. State licensure as required and current BLS certification. While no prior experience is necessary, experience in Fetal Medicine Sonography is strongly preferred. Why Join UCHealth?
