Job Title: Data Engineer IV (Lead)

Pay Rate: $80/hr W2 only

Duration: 6 month contract but expected to extend to a year. C2H for right fit.

Location: Onsite Greenwood Village, CO - some remote flexibility but expectation is to be onsite


Responsibilities

As a data engineer in the DE team, you will apply your strong technical experience building highly reliable services on managing and orchestrating multi-terabyte scale data lakes and implement a Data Mesh architecture, working closely with the Data Architecture/Modeling team. You enjoy working in an agile environment and are able to take vague requirements and transform them into solid solutions. You are motivated by solving challenging problems, where innovation, problem-solving, and creativity is as important as your ability to write code and test cases.


Essential Functions

- Lead the design and implementation of complex ETL processes.

- Oversee data architecture and ensure scalability and performance.

- Mentor and guide junior team members.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement advanced analytics solutions.


Required:

  • Python and Pyspark expertise SHOULD be on a resume.
  • Must have experience in AWS
  • Experience with Machine learning models.
  • Understands the concept of Lakehouse or Datalake
  • Has worked with API data consumption.
  • Has knowledge of data governance tools (ex: data lineage, metadata tagging, metadata catalog)
  • Experience with Terraform
