This position is for an individual who is self-motivated, positive, and team and safety-oriented, who can operate heavy equipment for jobs such as (but not limited to) underground utility installation, grading, and street reconstruction. When not operating equipment, individuals must be willing to perform physical labor wherever needed.Applicant must pass a physical ability and drug test prior to working. We need individuals who are true TEAM players, who have a positive attitude, and are flexible.In addition to being reliable, willing to learn, and safety-oriented, the ideal candidate must exemplify our five core values:Dependable and HardworkingHonestProblem SolverShow Care and ProfessionalismCommitted to Continuous Personal GrowthJob Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrates safe and proficient operation of heavy equipment associated with duties related, but not limited to, underground utility installation, grading, and street reconstructionHave the appropriate required training to perform jobs such as main line pipe installs, removals, fine grading, truck loading, and other associated tasksMust understand how to maneuver around obstacles and buried utilities, without direct supervision from managementUnderstands blueprint reading and is involved with pre-task planningMust be able to fuel the machine and lube pivot joints dailyMaintain the cleanliness of the equipmentLearn and follow safety standardsWork a full-time schedule with overtime during construction season as follows:-- Seasonal work, March - December -- Monday - Friday, 7:00-5:30 with possible weekend work -- 40-55 hours/week, depending on weather--Education, Experience & Training Requirements:2500 hours minimum of safe and proficient operation of various heavy equipmentMust hold a valid insurable driver's license - Class C minimum and a clear driving recordCompany Assistance/Scheduling for the below trainings:10-Hour OSHA Training CourseCompetent person/trench safety/confined space trainingGas-powered cut-off saw trainingFirst Aid/CPR TrainingTraffic control technicianBenefits Offered:Health & Dental InsuranceHSA with Company Contribution401K with Company MatchSupplemental Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital & Cancer InsuranceLife InsuranceWeekly Direct DepositProfit Sharing ProgramPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffAnnual Boot & Clothing AllowanceCollaborative & Supportive Workplace CultureWe are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
