ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking a Project Manager with experience in technology integrations, Agile methodology and implementing process improvements. PMP certification preferred. This position is hybrid with local proximity to Manassas, VA to work 1 day/wk onsite.We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from start to finish. This role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will ensure that all schedule, quality, and budget requirements are met, driving successful project outcomes and communicating with project stakeholders.Join ATCC and be part of a team that supports the global scientific community with trusted, authenticated biological materials.ResponsibilitiesProject Lifecycle Management: Manage the daily activities of the project lifecycle applying organizational best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing of projects. Ensure consistency throughout all phases by gathering data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope.Process Implementation and Goal Achievement: Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies for goal achievement. Interface with all stakeholders, including end users, vendors, and customers, to understand the strategic objectives of the project.Progress Tracking and Risk Management: Track progress of the project through milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators. Manage the risk, issue, and change resolution processes, and work with Senior Management to take corrective action.QualificationsBachelor's degree and 5 or more years' experience or equivalent experience.PMP preferred.Proven experience in managing all phases of the project lifecycle.Strong understanding of project management processes and methodologies.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to track project progress through milestones, budgetary guidelines, and performance indicators.Experience in risk, issue, and change resolution processes.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend innovative solutions.Proficiency in resource allocation and daily project progress management.Ability to provide guidance and oversight to project staff.Familiarity with professional concepts aligned with organizational objectives.BenefitsThe expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
