I am partnered with an exciting Mechanical Contractor in Colorado, searching for an Estimator as part of a brand new role. My client is renown for their quality of service across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, including Institutional, Medical and Data Center builds to name a few.


We are seeking a driven individual with experience conducting estimating across Mechanical/MEP or HVAC environments to join our preconstruction team where you will instrumental in the design, planning and build of greenfield sites.


This role would be ideal for someone with experience across plumbing, hydronic, sheet metal, process piping or Mechanical systems.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Estimate design-build and plan and spec mechanical projects of varying size levels and system types, including process piping systems, utility piping, plumbing, HVAC systems, ductwork, and equipment.
  • Analyze key measures such as labor needs, time and material specifications, and equipment needs.
  • Utilize estimation software for take-offs, and work in spreadsheet software and other tools for bid estimates.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and prepare bid proposals in an attractive manner to general contractors and owners.
  • Collaborate with the Estimating staff, Preconstruction staff, and Purchasing Department, acting as a liaison between Estimating and Field Operations for pre-bid and post-bid review and project turnovers.


What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in estimating Institutional, Laboratory, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, and Industrial related projects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience estimating mechanical systems.
  • Highly skilled in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
