Bringing AI to the Intelligent Edge – Our Chief Artificial Intelligence Office


Dr. Rashmi Misra is ADI’s first Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. Recognized as a global expert in the developing AI ecosystem, she brings a wealth of expertise.

The Office of CAIO is here to set, lead, and execute ADI’s AI strategy. We have created an AI organization to centralize our efforts to develop ADI’s AI and machine learning foundations, provide AI-derived insights that improve our own operations, decision-making, and productivity, accelerate our engineering development, and deliver AI-enabled and AI-ready products, solutions, and platforms that extend our leadership at the Intelligent Edge. The Role

The Chief AI Office at ADI is seeking to hire the role of AI Core Technologies Leader to spearhead the integration and advancement of AI technologies within the organization. This future focused leader will be responsible for strategic initiatives that not only push technological boundaries but also ensure that these advancements are implemented responsibly and securely across ADI. They will work to develop novel AI models and agents, experiment with daring new ideas and concepts and manage ADI’s infrastructure and AI labs; all while ensuring effective governance across ADI’s innovation programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Future Models or Agents: You will lead the development and refinement of predictive models and intelligent agents that can autonomously perform tasks or make decisions based on data inputs. This includes pioneering work in adaptive AI systems that evolve based on feedback and changing environments.
  • Infrastructure: You will oversee the creation and maintenance of robust AI infrastructure that supports both experimental and production environments. This includes ensuring scalable, efficient, and secure architecture that can handle complex data processing and AI computations.
  • Secure and Responsible AI: You will champion the development and implementation of AI systems that adhere to ethical guidelines and comply with regulatory standards. This includes ensuring that AI solutions are transparent, equitable, and protect user privacy, while also instituting safeguards against malicious use and biases.
  • AI Labs: You will establish and manage AI Labs dedicated to innovation and experimentation within the organization. These labs will serve as hubs for brainstorming, prototyping, and testing new AI technologies before they are rolled out into real-world applications across ADI’s ecosystem.


Qualification & Skills:

  • Masters or PhD or its equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related technical field related to innovation and creativity with AI concepts.
  • Experience in setting up and running experimental labs and innovation centers
  • A robust history of leading major AI initiatives at the enterprise level, consistently achieving significant outcomes with a high innovation quotient.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and infrastructure requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans and manage large-scale technology projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to lead diverse teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate complex ethical issues in technology, emphasizing secure and responsible AI deployment.
