Social Services Warehouse Assistant (Seasonal)Job Category: Social ServicesRequisition Number: SOCIA022139Full-TimeRate: $22 USD per hourSOMA CorpsSan Francisco, CA 94107, USADescriptionDuties:Drive TSA a truck/van for the purpose of transporting and collecting food and merchandise itemsCoordinate multiple donation pickups and deliveries within SF from individual donors and companiesLoad and unload truck/van, ensuring proper care and handling of donated itemsManage and keep records of the storage and processing of donated food & merchandise itemsJanitorial duties at the Social Service Warehouse, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, stockingCleanup of sidewalk/street and graffiti at Social Service WarehouseAssist in the maintaining of all warehouse vehicles and equipmentProvide support for Clothing Room as neededMaintain security and confidentiality of clients that receive services from the Social Service WarehouseProvide exceptional customer service to all volunteers, clients, donors and TSA Officers and staffProvide support for weekly food pantries as neededAssist with seasonal assistance efforts as neededAll other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School EducationGood Communication skills and ability to relate will to all levels of peopleAbility to handle multiple tasks and keep to a scheduleMust have basic proficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to function as a team memberGood physical condition & ability to lift 50 poundsClean & Current driver's license preferred.Equipment Used:TSA issued computer for the purpose of record keeping and communication via emailBox truck and cargo vanPallet jack and/or forkliftStandard warehouse and maintenance equipment itemsPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basisAbility to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overheadAbility to operate telephoneAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
