Mainframe Programmer

Immediate need for a talented Mainframe Programmer. This is a 09+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Hopkins, MN(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $58 - $62/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Mainframe FOCUS, Mainframe COBOL, IBM JCL, and IBM procedures.
• Looking for someone with experience in mainframe FOCUS and mainframe COBOL.
• Data validation/comparison
• Work with downstream system groups to transmit and test data files
• Work with tech team to determine when/how to decommission mainframe files (to meet go-live in May 2025 we need to continue to use mainframe files, but then post-go live will look at pulling off mainframe and decommissioning)
• They should be experienced with IBM JCL, and IBM procedures.
• Need someone to be able to read and interpret code but not write any new programs on the mainframe.
• Looking for senior level experience and/or can be lesser amt of years of experience if they meet the criteria.
