Your leadership will ensure project operations are compliant, safe, timely, within scope and budget, and clients are satisfied./ppThis key project leader for Claycos Field Operations team will oversee construction of 100MM - 500MM or more and will be assigned to the as the Construction Manager/Superintendent on Mission Critical projects./ppstrongThe Specifics of the Role/strong/pulliResponsible for the organization and direction of all on-site construction related activities and the primary contact for all project field activities./liliEnsure construction operations are in compliance with design, specifications, and that construction operations are completed on schedule, within budget and to quality standards./liliResponsible for site management including management of construction subcontractors, professional staff to include field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, finance and accounting services, and workforce services. Responsible for managing and maintaining detailed daily reports./liliEnsures the development and execution of project automation plan, environmental compliance plan, safety plan, site survey plan, non-manual staffing plan, subcontracting plan, labor strategy, construction execution plan, and job-site work rules./liliResponsible for implementation of Claycos safety program, security, housekeeping, and fire protection on the construction site and ensures strict adherence Federal and State safety codes./liliEnsures the field organization is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures effective personnel utilization./liliEstablishes and implements construction schedules, methods, manning charts, material, and equipment requirements./liliResponsible for field project performance and analyzes performances for adherence to quality standards and schedules./liliPlans and establishes procedures to ensure all construction operations meet engineering designs and specifications./liliEnsures Claycos policies and procedures are fully implemented./liliEstablishes project field procedures to be worked in conjunction with the Claycos standards, as necessitated by project conditions./liliCollaborates with the jobsite team to ensure labor harmony throughout the project./liliPartners with the project management team to maintain effective client relationship and is the primary contact for clients communication with the field activities./liliMaintains effective relationships with other functional departments./liliDevelops, implements, and administers a job-site security plan and coordinates the activities with Claycos security department./liliWorks with the project management team to participate in all job-sites contractual activities.
Participates in contracts and subcontracts negotiations./liliParticipates in the development and implementation of a training program to ensure subordinate personnel receives progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities and is responsible for overall development of construction training and any testing as required./liliWorks with Claycos safety team in the development of the project safety program and ensures strict adherence to Company, federal, state, and local safety regulations./liliEnsures the implementation of an effective community relations plan for the site./liliEnsures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the affected work at site./liliResponsible and accountable for construction license reporting to include construction Logbook entries and required notifications for permit closure./liliPartners with the project management team for the implementation of cost savings methodologies in the Construction organization and the promotion of other continuous improvement processes./liliEnsures development and execution of strategies and plans for project automation, environmental compliance, safety, site surveying, non-manual staffing, contracting, labor strategy, construction execution, and job-site work rules./liliPlans and establishes procedures to ensure construction operations meet engineering designs and specifications./liliCoordinate with the Field Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions./liliSupport Superintendent(s) throughout the duration of the job./liliReview project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman./liliDocument project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team./liliEnsure subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule are documented and are forwarded to the project management team./liliFollow guidelines of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program written for the jobsite./li/ulpstrongRequirements/strong/pulliBachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related technical degree or relevant work experience in lieu of education./lili20-25 years of relevant experience, with progressive responsibility and technical knowledge both scope and value of project./liliTechnical knowledge and experience of relevant construction methods and systems including:/liulliUtility relocates and slope stability works./li/ulliFull understanding of multiple mission critical platforms./liliFull understanding and working knowledge of high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems.
