Do you enjoy ARVR technology? Do you have experience working on small-medium scale research projects? Insight Global Evergreen team is working with an ARVR technology leader in the San Francisco Bay area. We are seeking an entry-level data collectors who will use Prototype and Consumer-level ARVR devices to collect data at real-world locations and in controlled environments. This is a short-to-medium term pilot project with an estimated duration of 3-4 months and the possibility of extension.

**Length of employment duration will be based on performance and/or the program needs.**


Responsibilities:

This position supports multiple and different engineering research projects thus the requirements change every 6-8 weeks on average. In general, the following responsibilities are expected but not limited to:

  • Retrieve and transport equipment from our office/personal assigned inventory to indoor/outdoor locations
  • Set up prototype equipment and software using instruction manuals and training
  • Use equipment to collect data using a defined set of standard operating procedure and predetermined path
  • As necessary, communicate to the public about on project using pre-authorized, NDA approved scripts
  • Review data using embedded software, checking for any issues and recollecting if required
  • Upload data to company servers through the use of client-provided laptops
  • Up to 25% travel may be required


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High-level of verbal and written communication skills using email, instant messaging, and video conferencing (similar to Zoom or Slack)
  • Mature and confident interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to anyone
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to independently seek answers
  • Understanding of deadlines and milestones with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow documented procedures and escalate any questions/concerns
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and working on Android/iPhone and MacOS
  • Good level of fitness: able to walk, jog, run, hike, and ride a bike
  • Ability to walk up to 8 miles a day
  • Capable of carrying up to 30 lbs for extended periods
  • Capable of working on a computer and/or VR headset for extended periods
  • Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle


Compensation:

$21.00/hr to $22.00/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
