Human Resources Internship ProgramInterns within the Human Resources team will be part of an accelerated learning experience, to challenge skills learned in the classroom and develop new skills while working on active Lumen work projects. In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects and be able to develop their professional skills and business acumen through frequent exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns. HR Leadership Development interns will have the unique opportunity to learn about and gain exposure into the various HR functions at Lumen.Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program. Program dates: May 29 August 7, 2026. This position is fully remote/work from home in the continental US. US work authorization required for this role.The Main ResponsibilitiesInterface and partner with all levels of employeesAccomplish multiple projects simultaneouslyAssist with planning of training eventsProvide best in class customer serviceProvide analytical supportAssist with recurring reporting activitiesAssist with basic instructional designPrepare and organize presentation slides and storyboardsUse intermediate and advanced functions in Word, Excel, and PowerPointStructure and convey information in verbal and written presentation formatsResearch and collect data for various HR initiativesNetwork with internal and external constituentsOther duties as assignedWhat We Look For in a CandidateProgram eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.Required QualificationEnrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship. Graduating December 2026 May 2027. Preferred fields include but not limited to pursuing a masters degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.Proficiency and Understanding ofAbility to handle confidential informationHR leadership aspirationsProficient Microsoft office and computer skillsStrong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesHighly motivated, organized, reliable, and detail orientedStrong written and verbal communication skillsQuick learner and capable of multitaskingFlexible and adapts well to changeInternship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.
