Senior Manager, Product Quality Assurance (PQA)The Senior Manager, Product Quality Assurance (PQA) is a critical member of Sodexo's North America Food Safety team. This role is responsible for leading and supporting food safety and quality initiatives through effective program and project management, supplier second-party audits, and recall coordination. The position ensures that Sodexo's PQA systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Manage PQA programs and projects across food manufacturing and retail foodservice environments.Lead and manage the end-to-end product recall process, ensuring effective communication and resolution.Conduct second-party supplier audits to assess compliance with Sodexo's food safety and quality standards.Collaborate with internal teams including Food Manufacturing Audit, PQA, and Supply Management to drive continuous improvement.Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to product quality and safety.Assist in maintaining ISO certification and other relevant quality standards.Present and communicate food safety information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Sodexo offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include:Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs401(k) Plan with Matching ContributionsPaid Time Off and Company HolidaysCareer Growth Opportunities and Tuition ReimbursementMore extensive information is provided to new employees upon hire.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or related field.5+ years experience working in a food safety management, auditing, or consulting role.PCQI & HACCP certifications.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, CFIA, etc.) and industry standards.Familiarity with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked schemes (e.g., SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000).Experience in food manufacturing and retail foodservice environments.Advanced degree or certifications (SQF, ISO Lead Auditor) preferred.Experience with ISO certification processes and audit management.Strong auditing background, including supplier second-party and internal audits.At Sodexo, our purpose is to create a better everyday for everyone and build a better life for all.
