Job Description

Anticipated Contract Length/End Date: January 2025 - Maternity Leave Cover with possibility to extend and/or convert to full time ; mainly remote/in office once per week


Our client in the executive search firm and leadership consulting industry is seeking a dynamic digital marketing senior specialist with a focus on social media to join their global marketing organization. Responsible for creating distinctive programs that enlighten and inspire top executives and board directors worldwide, the team is dedicated to excellence. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, this role will be a valued contributor, aiding in building a world-class digital presence for the company.


What you will do:

  • Support all social media marketing initiatives across a variety of platforms, including LinkedIn and the firm’s employee advocacy program.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the marketing team, including design, editorial, and marketing managers on various social media efforts that align with brand strategy.
  • Prioritize multiple social media projects and implement/maintain campaigns.
  • Maintain the editorial and social media calendar.
  • Continually monitor engagement levels and adjust campaigns to enhance performance.
  • Champion the firm’s employee advocacy program to global colleagues.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape.
  • Share insights with the broader marketing team as appropriate.
  • Help analyze and synthesize performance data from digital channels to create insightful reports.
  • Share recommendations for elevating performance now and in the future.
  • Play a support role to the web team in publishing thought leadership (articles, blogs, interactive pieces, and more) for global audiences.
  • Provide project management support for special marketing projects as needed.


Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business degree preferred.
  • Strong communication, creative problem solving, analytical and project management skills are a must.
  • Solid understanding of B2B social media best practices preferred.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment and be adaptable to change.
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with experience in B2B or professional services organization a plus.
  • At least four 4 - 5years of experience working with an enterprise social media management system, such as Sprout Social, Meltwater, Hootsuite or Sprinklr. Sitecore experience preferred.
  • Must be highly proficient in creating PowerPoint reports.
  • Excel knowledge and/or prior experience with a leading marketing automation system or analytics tools would be a plus.


Additional Information

Open to local Chicago or commuting distance to Chicago office only.
