This new Senior Associate Product Manager will provide that hands-on leadership by embedding directly with the agile pod to manage the product backlog, lead scrum ceremonies, and work with engineers. The primary justification is to accelerate the delivery of tangible features and bridge the gap between high-level strategy and the day-to-day work required to "turn plans into action."Capital One Product FrameworkIn this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutionsBusiness Focused - Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellenceTechnology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term valueIntegrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risksTransformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignmentBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 2 years of experience working in Product ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentrationExperience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital productsThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $109,000 - $124,400 for Sr. Associate, Product ManagementNew York, NY: $118,900 - $135,700 for Sr. Associate, Product ManagementRichmond, VA: $99,100 - $113,100 for Sr. Associate, Product ManagementWilmington, DE: $99,100 - $113,100 for Sr. Associate, Product ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
