Austill‘s Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks an Occupational Therapist to work 4 days/week (M-Th, 6 hours each day) with preschool students in specialized classrooms in one location in Norristown, PA. Shadowing is offered in mid-December with treating beginning January 2025 through April 2025 with possible future options.

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:

Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the students potential.
Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
Travel may be required throughout the school day.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited OT/OTA educational program.
Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant License
Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
