We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading technical aspects of applications utilizing N-Tier architecture, developing complex stored procedures in Oracle databases, and interfacing PowerBuilder applications with VB.Net systems. The role involves collaborating with a team of developers, business analysts, and technical leads to build a new Child Care Assistance system in .NET Core.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with a team of developers to design and develop a new Child Care Assistance system using .NET Core.
  2. Work closely with Business Analysts to perform analysis and create logical designs.
  3. Conduct unit testing and resolve identified bugs to ensure high-quality code.
  4. Perform complex coding in VB.Net to meet system requirements.
  5. Assist in responding to Child Care Assistance data requests as needed.
  6. Write and optimize complex stored procedures and triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL.
  7. Report to and work under the guidance of a Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Software Architect.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience leading the technical aspects of applications utilizing N-Tier architecture.
  • 7 years of experience with PL/SQL, including writing packages, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • 4 years of experience interfacing PowerBuilder applications with VB.Net systems.
  • 4 years of experience developing applications utilizing Web Services or WCF.
  • 5 years of experience directing/managing the technical development of web-enabled PowerBuilder applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working in a government or child care-related domain.
