Senior Welder Position At TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc.TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Senior Welder on 2nd shift at our Shell Rock, IA office.TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. provides a complete array of railcar maintenance services.As a welder at Trinity, you'll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. Hours are Monday Friday from 2p-10:30p.Hand weld in all positions, fillet and groovePerform repairs to subassemblies for final productPerform oxy-fuel weldingPerform carbon arc weldingConduct one or two NDE testsFollow all safety rules and practicesMay be involved in safety committees or initiativesPerform other duties as assignedWhat you'll need:Minimum of 3 years of experienceExperience with MIG and FCAW is requiredFCAW (2G, 3G & 4G)Ability to weld out of position (vertical & overhead)May require working above ground (15 ft or more)Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects, comfortable with heights.May require working in narrow or confined workspaces for extended periods of timeTasks may require physical strength and dexterityMay require extensive kneeling, bending and standing for long periods of timePlease include any certifications, training or relevant experience and complete details of your work history on your application; need to list at least the last two employers in application, if applicable.
