Overview :


We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience in Asset Management (Finance) for a major Asset Manager in Boston.

The Senior Business Analyst role is pivotal to implement the data platform within the Finance domain. This role entails a blend of Finance and IT responsibilities, requiring collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.


Dual professional culture (French/USA) is a plus for this mission.


Responsibilities:


- Engage in comprehensive project management activities.

- Apply expertise in Asset Management (or Corporate & Investment Banking).

- Demonstrate proficiency in corporate finance activities.

- Collaborate with:


  • Selected vendor responsible for platform implementation (through RFP process).
  • IT teams managing the data platform hosting.
  • Finance teams in the organization's offices.
  • Financial leadership of affiliated companies.
  • IT project manager.


Prerequisites:


  • Project Management: Ability to lead complex projects, defining scope, creating plans, managing resources, timelines, budgets, and risks. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.


  • Financial Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of asset management or corporate and investment banking principles, regulations, products, portfolio management, market trends, and regulatory compliance.


  • Financial Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing financial data, interpreting statements, performing variance analysis, evaluating investment performance, and utilizing financial modeling and data visualization tools.


  • IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills focusing on data management, analytics, data integration, governance, and database systems, with proficiency in data manipulation languages.


  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders across all levels, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.


  • Change Management: Ability to drive organizational change, assess impacts, develop communication plans, and facilitate smooth transitions to new processes or technologies.


  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, anticipating challenges, identifying issues, evaluating solutions, and adapting to dynamic project requirements.


  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of financial regulations, data privacy standards, and industry-specific compliance requirements, ensuring adherence and integration into project deliverables.


  • Cross-cultural Competence: Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in multicultural environments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams and geographies.
