If relationships are important to you and you identify with the People First culture at Forvis Mazars, we would like to hear from you What You Will Do: Providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on companies operating in the manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services and technology, and financial institutions industries Assisting in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff Helping to develop and manage client relationships Providing timely and unmatched client service and exceeding client expectations Representing Forvis Mazars in the marketplace at networking events Participating in the proposal process for potential new clients Participating in campus recruiting initiatives and programs Contributing to Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications and to internal learning and development sessions Working with your team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite A minimum of 4 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience CPA license Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law degree, or a related field Private Equity Experience Partnerships Experience Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and experience in public accounting A strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service to clients and experience servicing multiple client engagements Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management skills Ability to work well with a team as well as independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills A solution-finding attitude Willingness to take initiative Precise attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and against target dates #LI-ISELIN #LI-JB2 New Jersey Wage Transparency Pursuant to New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the salary range displayed is for the New Jersey market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Positions that are non-exempt will be eligible for overtime pay compensable at a rate of one and a half times the hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a work week. Benefits are eligibility-based and could include group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs. NJ Minimum Salary (USD) $ 82000 NJ Maximum Salary (USD) $ 121000
