Major retail company in Plainfield, CT is looking for experienced Senior Operations Managers.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Operations Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced distribution center, ensuring efficient product flow. You'll lead a team of Supervisors, forecast demand, allocate resources, drive performance, and resolve operational issues. Your goal is to optimize efficiency, develop your team, and contribute to the company's supply chain success.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience; or at least 7 years of experience in distribution.You're a proven leader with strong team management, problem-solving, and communication skills. You're committed to safety and have experience building a safe work environment. Proficiency sith warehouse management systems is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideally, you have experience managing resources, time, and budgets. Proven problem-solving skills and experience leading corporate initiatives or working in other company facilities are also beneficial. Bilingual (Spanish/English or Haitian French Creole/English) skills are essential
Shift:
You'll be required to work a set schedule and may be asked to work various shifts based on operational needs. Shift flexibility is a must
