Job Title: Network Administrator
Location: Hybrid - Playa Vista, CA (Onsite 2-3 days per week)
Target Salary: $75,000 per year + 5% bonus

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network operations. This role offers a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days per week onsite in Playa Vista, CA, and the remainder working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the organization's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Configure and maintain VLANs, subnets, and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Implement and enforce network security policies to protect against unauthorized access and potential threats.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with a team of 6, providing after-hours support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals and support IT projects.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in network administration.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or a related field.
- Excellent understanding of computer networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, and OSPF.
- Experience with network switches, routers, and firewalls, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and their use in a network environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud networking or hybrid cloud environments.
- Certifications in network-related fields (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
