Responsibilities & RequirementsResponsibilities Provides physical therapy services under the delegation and supervision of a Physical Therapist as outlined in the Guide to Standards of Care for Physical Therapy Practice and Ohio Laws and Rules governing the profession. Follows the plan of care and works in consortium with the supervising therapist to achieve the goals and discharge plans established during assessments. The physical therapist assistant may assist in the development and participate in patient oriented programs and community educational services as well as market all services provided by the department/organization. The physical therapist assistant is supervised by the physical therapist for performance of direct patient care, reports directly to the Manager. Indirect supervision is given by the Rehab Medicine Supervisor Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Ohio Preferred QualificationsInterest in aquatics a plus.
