As a trusted talent acquisition partner, we are dedicated to finding top-tier candidates for this esteemed organization. All inquiries and applications for this position will be managed through People Capital Co.

At the West End House (WEH) Boys & Girls Club our mission is at the heart of all we do. We provide high-impact programs that assist youth as they achieve academic success, explore the arts, develop career readiness & leadership skills, and adopt healthy lifestyles. We are devoted to advancing racial equity through our work and throughout all aspects of our organization- our youth programs, our community and family engagement, and our board and leadership.

The global pandemic caused devastating loss for young people– and the worsening of pre-existing opportunity gaps along racial and socio-economic lines. West End House has been with families and young people throughout these challenging times and on the front lines helping our community heal. As the Director of Sports and Fitness, you will be a key part of these efforts as you drive and strengthen our programs. You will oversee and enhance our current sports and fitness programs and restore many initiatives that were developed pre-pandemic.

You will maintain a team of full-time and part-time staff and draw on your experience to implement programming including sports leagues, aquatic programs, skill-building clinics, daily fitness activities, and more. Your demonstrated success as a leader will position you to develop a team with a growth mindset and a deep commitment to ensuring successful outcomes for young people and our organization. Your expertise in sports and physical fitness will help our young people reach their goals for healthy living. Your involvement in successful partnerships will enable you to strengthen and expand our collaborations with corporations and institutions considered leaders in child and adolescent health.

Your talents working with young people will help you build close-knit relationships that will encourage youth to grow and remain engaged in programming. These relationships, in combination with reflections from program data, will enable you to adapt and grow the program to create optimum outcomes for young people.

The Director of Sports and Fitness is a key leader on the Program Impact Team. You will report to the Senior Director of Program Operations and work in close collaboration with other program directors to build on the optimal club experience for young people.

**This position requires on-site presence. Applicants must be willing to work from our Allston, MA, Boys & Girls Club location.**
