Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Center Technician Location: Atlanta, GA Pay Range: $25 - $32/hour on W2 based on skill level & experience Shift: Day & Night Shifts available What's the Job? Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of IT equipment , following specific instructions and safety protocols. Conduct post-execution quality checks to ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues , quickly identifying causes and performing break-fix repairs on faulty components. Decommission hardware for system refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds . Monitor systems for equipment failures or errors and respond to program error messages effectively. What's Needed? Computer Science majors OR CompTIA A+ or Server+ certifications . Experience as a Data Center Technician , with hardware break-fix responsibilities . Previous experience with Geek Squad computer repair or similar computer repair technician roles . High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components . 1 - 5 years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Flexibility to work non-standard business hours , including weekends and/or holidays. What's in it for me?
