Job Overview As part of our AWS Industries Team, you’ll collaborate with diverse team members to create customized AI solutions that transform the Media & Entertainment, Sports, and Games sectors. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative AI-driven strategies. Key Responsibilities Engage with AI/ML scientists, engineers, and architects to research, design, and develop cutting-edge generative AI algorithms, creating machine learning systems that address real-world issues. Work directly with clients to identify their business challenges and assist in the effective implementation of generative AI solutions, while providing guidance on adoption and deployment strategies. Develop and share best practices through tutorials, blog posts, publications, and presentations catered to various audiences, including technical and executive stakeholders. Contribute feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help shape product development and future direction. We focus on continuous learning, inclusivity, and professional growth. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Proficient in statistical models, including multinomial logistic regression. Skilled in data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) or statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab). Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, data science, etc.). Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data scientist role. At least 10 years of experience within the Media and Entertainment industries. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading and mentoring data science teams. Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a relevant quantitative field. Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, and deep learning techniques (e.g., CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer). Hands-on experience with training and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
