Technical Writer Summary

As a Technical Writer with cloud experience, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation related to cloud solutions. You will work closely with developers and technical teams to understand complex systems and processes and translate this knowledge into user-friendly documents.

Your role will involve documenting cloud architecture, best practices, procedures, and other technical content while ensuring alignment with industry standards and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation Development:
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, system architecture diagrams, and process workflows related to cloud technologies.
  • Develop clear and detailed content for cloud solutions, including deployment guides, troubleshooting manuals, and operational procedures.
Collaboration with Developers:
  • Work closely with development teams to gather technical information, understand system functionalities, and document complex technical concepts.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.
CCoE Support:
  • Document Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) practices, guidelines, and frameworks.
  • Assist in the development of best practices and standards for cloud adoption and governance within the CCoE.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of CCoE knowledge bases and internal resources.
Content Review and Quality Assurance:
  • Review and edit technical documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Ensure that all documentation meets company standards and industry best practices.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality.
Training and Support:
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for internal teams and end-users.
  • Provide support and clarification on documentation as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer with a focus on cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Demonstrated experience working with Cloud Centers of Excellence (CCoE) and documenting cloud practices.
  • Previous experience in communicating with developers and understanding technical concepts.
