We are excited to bring on a Full-time Registered Architect at Cor3 Design in Greenville, SC
As a Registered Architectural on the COR3 Design team, you will manage multiple projects at various stages of design and construction to ensure adherence to intended scope of work, budget, guidelines, standards, and industry best practices while also staying up to date on other projects at the firm and supporting the principals. Client relations are a major focus of this role and client success is critical. The Registered Architect will build a healthy rapport with clients and ensure they are happy with our work.

Pay: Starting at $90,000 depending on experience

Typical day in the life as a Registered Architect:
- Meets with clients and stakeholders to discuss and organize projects from original conceptual design through construction.
- Defines project objectives, creates comprehensive project plans, and assembles teams with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
- Assesses potential projects for feasibility by researching and analyzing associated technology, design requirements, governmental regulations, and market demand.
- Builds and maintains strong client relationships.
- Allocates resources, including labor, materials, and equipment while optimizing their utilization to meet project goals effectively.
- Ensures that projects adhere to all relevant building code regulations and obtains necessary permits and approvals.
- Sign and seal documents as required.
- Establishes and maintains quality standards, monitors construction or design processes for compliance, and implements quality assurance and control procedures.
- Maintains clear and open lines of communication with all project stakeholders including clients, team members, and contractors.
- Keeps stakeholders informed of project progress and gives regular updates.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters in architecture required proficient in AutoCAD and Revit drafting
- NCARB License required. Position required licensure in multiple states.
- LEED certification, and understanding of sustainable design preferred.
- A minimum of five years of related experience in commercial architectural design. Must have a depth of knowledge in the design and intricate details associated with commercial design and construction.
- Utilize complex computer operations (relational databases, and operating systems) and advanced features of software packages (word-processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.) Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software.
