TheBTI Analyticsteam is part ofInsightsand Products Analytics team within the Business and Technology Insights (BTI) Business Unitandperforms analysis related to all aspects of Gartner'sInsights business.This includesanalyzingclient value drivers:Content,Client Interactions andBTIrole in conferences and eventsas well as internal BTI associate performance analytics.We power fact-based decision making by providing data, insights, and analytic tools to continuously improve our business - operationally and strategically.Weare looking for aSenior Director (Sr. Dir)who is aproven highly analytical problem solver, hasstrongtechnical understanding of data/data systemsandanexceptionalcoachto be part of our growing team. Thisindividualmay have a small team reporting in futureandshould becomfortable rolling up their sleeves to "get the job done"as well asleading strategic initiatives.This role willprimarilyfocus onownership of end-to-end deliverables oncross-functional projectse.g.associate performance goals and coaching metrics, client engagement and retention dashboard, key metrics overview across all assets for various BTI roles.Initiatives/projects involve data definition, data pull,technical understanding of Gartner data,analyzeforinsights,buildrecommendations,visualizedata,scalethroughautomate visualizations and reporting.ExampleobjectivesareBuild mechanisms to measure current performancegoalsandimprovementopportunities for associates including what metrics matterUnderstand the BTIorg andbuild/enhanceend-to-end dashboardstocommunicate the performance of ourassociatesincluding areas of bright spots and opportunity,trendsand root causes of changes at all role levels in the orgEnable a destination postcard for managersto access insights, proven bestpracticesand associated data for coaching their teamsIdentifycross-functional opportunities across assets produced by BTI and drive analysis/insights to recommendationsThis is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on in our efforts to fuel Gartner's revenue growth and retention through Gartner's world-class,must-have contentand extraordinary andtimelyclient interactionsand conferences/events.Whatyou'lldo:Buildexpertiseto be the center of excellenceon GartnerBTIdata, with deep knowledge of the data across source systems, the data warehouse, and dashboards / reports so analysis is unassailable, and other Gartner teams rely on the data and guidancewe provide.Coachyour team to be world-class analytical experts, who can think critically and take an ambiguous business problem, break it into solvable workstreams, analyze using right quantitative modelsto discover meaningful patterns, insights, and information that can inform decision-making, visualize theoutcomesand build into automated dashboards/reports.Influenceand guide stakeholders (e.g.,BTI, Insights Strategy & Ops,HRand Global Product Management) with insights and recommendations from analysis.Developand continuously improve analytical methodologies for BTI (and other BUs)Executeonthe approachto deliverfunctionalityiteratively.Continuous improvement:Take initiative toidentifyand roll out improvement initiatives.Strategic initiatives:Own problem structuring, analysis and implementation of strategic initiatives and key, cross-organizational deliverables, partnering with stakeholders and coaching team members.What you will need:Experience: 12+ years of progressive business experience involvingadvanced business analytics, complex problem solving, and business strategy.Education:Bachelor's Degreerequiredwith aMaster'sDegreepreferred. Degree with a concentration instatistics, data science, mathematics,engineering, computer science,oroperationsresearch preferred.Exceptional problem solving:Proventrack recordof solving complex problems,Critical thinking, Analytical reasoning, Innovation, and using data to influence senior level stakeholders. Join us.Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 138,000 USD - 188,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
