Patients may present with a variety of medical diagnoses. Nurses may be required to float between different units, including those designated for intense rehabilitation services. Registered Nurses deliver care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effective interaction with patients, significant others, and health team members is essential to maintain high standards of professional nursing. The role involves providing high-quality care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patient populations. The estimated hours per week for this position is 36.
