Senior Product Manager - Developer ExperienceIn the position of a Senior Product Manager - Developer Experience, you will be responsible for helping shape key aspects of our extensibility storyhow partners bring their products into Docusignfor developers and partners. In particular, you will focus on enabling developers to contribute to our Data, AI Model, and AI Agent layers that make up the foundation of Intelligent in our Intelligent Agreement Management strategy. Partner contributions to these platforms and products are critical to scaling our IAM vision internationally and across all industries and lines of business.You will define the extensibility strategy and roadmap for enabling developers to bring data into and write data out of Docusign's data platforms; customize our data models; enable our out-of-the-box models to integrate with external systems to augment prompt responses; and supply their own agents to address unique use cases which supplement those Docusign provides out of the box. The successful candidate will deeply understand the Docusign AI product strategy in particular and the wider IAM strategy as a whole, the role Developers need to play in order to accomplish it, and contribute towards a Developer Experience that makes it possible. This is a highly visible, strategic role that sits at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing, and the developer community.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Management for Build Developer Experiences.ResponsibilityDefine and execute the product strategy for the Data IO, AI Model/LLM, and Agent extensibility developer journey by identifying key areas developers/partners are best positioned to help us scale in those areas and driving problem discovery, solution implementation, and GTMOwn the short, mid, and long-term product roadmaps for the aforementioned extension types, iteratively bringing those capabilities to life, ensuring they are adopted by developers, and ultimately solve critical end customer problems that enable IAM to scaleChampion a data-driven culture, utilizing metrics such as extension apps built and published using the above extension types; customization rate of our data and agent platforms by partners; and inbound/output transactions related to Data, AI Model/LLM, and Agent extensibility to measure success and identify opportunities for improvementProvide drivership across multiple product and engineering teams in a federated model, using your influence and deep market knowledge to ensure core product roadmaps account for the needs of our developer and partner ecosystems inline with the product scope defined aboveCollaborate closely with Developer Content, Advocacy, and Marketing teams to ensure developers can easily discover, learn about, build, publish, and maintain extension apps using these extension typesOwn timely, transparent communication to leadership and key stakeholders on the progress of this extensibility charter, attainment of key metrics, strategic roadmap, and ultimately the impact on adoption of core IAM products and related experiencesJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What You BringBasic8+ years of product management experience in developer experiences and/or developer platformsExperience shipping and managing developer-facing products such as APIs, Dev Docs, extensions, or similar developer platform primitives that enable bi-directional integration of productsExperience articulating complex technical concepts to both developer and executive audiences via mechanisms like research summaries, solution roadmaps, requirement documents, execution updates, launch communications, adoption reports, etc.Ability to multi-task and work independently or with minimal supervisionExperience working in an Agile development environment, preferably in a global setupPreferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA proven track record of successfully identifying customer problems ground up, defining strategy, delivering solutions, and ensuring developer adoption (not just delivering features)An experienced influencer with the ability to collaborate well and drive alignment in a matrixed environment having multiple stakeholdersStrong technical background, with the ability to engage in design discussions with engineering on topics like extension contract and packaging design, end-to-end developer experiences, and with Experience Design on topics such as Information Architecture and contentA data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform product strategy, prioritization and adoptionExperience working with Independent Software Vendors, Systems Integrators, and Corporate Developers including a nuanced understanding of requirement differences for those developer segmentsWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $140,000.00 - $225,075.00 base salaryWashington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $133,800.00 - $197,750.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
