Job Overview:
The Trucking Safety Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our safety programs and policies. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive knowledge of trucking regulations and a passion for promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Provide training and support to drivers and staff on safety practices, regulations, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

- In-depth knowledge of FMCSA regulations, OSHA standards, and other relevant safety laws.
- Proven track record of implementing successful safety programs and initiatives.

- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) are a plus.
