Description NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler, an affiliate of the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Attending Psychiatrist to join our interdisciplinary care team at our renowned Skilled Nursing Facility on Roosevelt Island. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in geriatric psychiatry, integrated care models, and providing comprehensive behavioral health services to a diverse long-term care population. Responsibilities: As an Attending Psychiatrist at Coler, you will: Deliver psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment to skilled nursing and long-term care residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including primary care, nursing, social work, and therapy services. Participate in care planning conferences, psychotropic medication management, and behavioral interventions. Support the facility's behavioral health initiatives and compliance with CMS psychiatric care guidelines. Serve as a clinical leader in promoting patient-centered mental health care and trauma-informed practices. Participate in teaching and training opportunities as a faculty member of NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
