Specific duties and responsibilities include:Comply with company safety policies and proceduresSweeping, mopping and vacuuming floorsWaxing furniture and cleaning fixturesDisposing of trash and emptying trash receptaclesKeeping buildings free from indoor pestsMaintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipmentEnsuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hoursCollaborating with contract cleaning servicesRegular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibilityOther duties as assigned.Applicants must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Austin is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, couching, kneeling, working in confined spaces, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 50lbs, climbing up to 200ft, perceiving color differences, ability to wear personal protective equipment (beards not permitted), and strenuous physical activity.Qualifications required for this position include:Education no minimum education requirements.Experience previous janitorial or custodial experience in the industrial industry. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on feet for extended periods. Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
