From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.Key Responsibilities Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices Handles claims involving sink holes, extra-contractual liability, or claims that include Public Adjuster involvement Notifies insured of exposure over the policy limit Completes and reviews contents inventory, contents pricing, and mitigation bills Acts as a resource to MCO on complex and occasionally highly complex claim/coverage matters Investigates, reviews, determines, and verifies complex and occasionally highly complex coverage/policy information Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes Conducts subrogation investigationsEducation 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)Experience 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.Education & Experience (in lieu) In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.SkillsActive Listening, Communication, Critical Thinking, Customer Service, Empathy, Multitasking, Time Management, Working Independently, XactimateCompensation Compensation offered for this role is $68,000 - $115,245 and is based on experience and qualifications.
